Film details

BLESSED BY FIRE is the first film to present the conflict from the Argentinean perspective and is based on the real life memoirs of writer Edgardo Esteban.
HAVANA BLUES is a feel-good music film with a heart, set to a soundtrack of original Cuban music, which also offers an insight into life on this absorbing and colourful island. The film was selected for the Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in 2005.
EL VIOLÍN is the stunning feature début from Francisco Vargas set in rural 1970's Mexico. Don Plutarco (Angel Tavira), his son and grandson are farmers and traditional musicians who also support the campesina peasant guerrilla movement?s armed efforts. Beautifully shot in black and white, EL VIOLÍN is anchored on the amazing performance of Tavira, who won a Best Actor award at Cannes

Following its premiere in the Director's Fortnight at Cannes 2006, HONOUR OF THE KNIGHTS has gone on to garner critical acclaim across the globe for its Beckett-tinged, pure cinematic distillation of Don Quixote. Reducing and re-working the plot of Cervantes? novel to its fundamentals, it follows Quixote and Sancho as they set off in search of adventures.
